Several partners who have departed Am Law 100 firm Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith in the last year and a half have faced legal threats by the firm to recover five and six-figure compensation amounts, according to two people briefed on the disputes.
Lewis Brisbois’ disputes with former partners over compensation come as the firm failed to meet 2022 revenue targets on which the firm based payments to the partners, according to the people, who confirmed information about the disputes on the condition of anonymity.
