The Georgia Court of Appeals is slated to consider whether an attorney fee award reduced to $78,000 from $524,000 should be vacated because the arbitrator was impaired by strong back pain medication when he amended the award.
At least that’s the argument plaintiff-appellee Robert Weathers Jr., represented by Gerald Davidson Jr. of Mahaffey Pickens Tucker and Warren Wills, made in his briefs, arguing for why the intermediate court should uphold the order vacating the arbitrator’s decision.
