Acuren Inspection Inc., the largest nondestructive testing and examination contractor in North America, secured a preliminary injunction against three former employees and a competitor for misappropriating trade secrets.
A court concluded that Acuren, the plaintiff, showed that it could prevail on its claims of breach of contract against former employees Ryan Dillon, Jesus Villalta Jr. and Brian Perry, accused of violations of the Defend Trade Secrets Acts, tortious interference with contract against competitor American Piping Inspection Inc., and business disparagement against Dillon.
