Quinn Emanuel celebrity attorney Alex Spiro, rebutting a motion for sanctions against him, argues opposing counsel in an Elon Musk defamation case is misrepresenting what transpired in a contentious deposition.
A Travis County district court will decide, based on opposing motions and argument scheduled in a hearing today, whether Spiro should be sanctioned and in addition barred from representing Musk, or whether plaintiff’s attorneys should be charged attorney fees and costs for an alleged meritless motion.
