The founder and former CEO of tax compliance company Exactera has been harassing the corporation and its employees with frivolous litigation, according to a new lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court Commercial Division.
Plaintiffs allege David Scherer—who stepped down as CEO in 2021 and left the board of directors in 2022—“is now harassing the company, threatening its employees, directors, and officers, and attempting to evade the terms of the agreements he signed.”
