The Delaware Supreme Court has overturned a decision that invalidated the state’s permanent absentee and early voting laws, finding the plaintiffs didn’t have standing to bring their challenge.
The court’s opinion reverses the judgment Superior Court Judge Mark H. Conner issued in favor of the plaintiffs, election inspector Michael Mennella and state senator Gerald Hocker, in February and dismisses their amended complaint, re-expanding Delawareans’ voting options for elections moving forward.
