An Am Law 100 firm brought a case in Miami federal court in which one of its South American clients, Venequip, sued Caterpillar for more than $100 million relating to an alleged scheme to “stab Venequip in the back through disloyal, misleading and fraudulent practices.”
Daniel Pulecio-Boek and Francisco Sánchez, Greenberg Traurig shareholders in Washington, D.C. and Miami, respectively, represent the plaintiff, Venequip S.A., in a lawsuit against the defendant, Caterpillar Inc., for allegedly engaging in misleading or fraudulent conduct, including discriminating, while favoring other dealers, despite repeated oral and written claims otherwise.
