In a state court in West Palm Beach, two South Florida law firms beat a malpractice lawsuit—before even filing an answer to the complaint—over their alleged failure to bring a wrongful-death case within the two-year statute of limitations.
Todd Baker, a shareholder at Kogan & DiSalvo, represented the defendants, Kogan & DiSalvo, the Law Offices of Kenneth R. Segal, and its managing partner Kenneth R. Segal, against the plaintiff, Alfreida Jones-Dukes, the personal representative of the estate of J.W. Jones.
