Simpson Thacher & Bartlett has appointed a new managing partner for its London office with veteran head, Jason Glover, to step down later this year.
Wheatly MacNamara, a partner within the firm’s real estate practice, will take over from Glover in October. She becomes the firm’s first female London leader, according to a person close to the matter. She has been at Simpson Thacher for almost twenty years, according to her LinkedIn profile.
