An Am Law 200 firm attorney filed a second lawsuit Tuesday in the Palm Beach Circuit Court against the developer behind the Residences-Mandarin Oriental-Boca Raton.
James T. Ferrara, a partner at Hinshaw & Culbertson, represents the plaintiffs in the lawsuits against the defendant, Via Mizner Owner III, LLC, for developer default. And these cases date back to 2015 when Penn-Florida Companies announced plans for the Mandarin Oriental and initially expected it to open in 2017. It was slated for 163 hotel rooms and 85 condos.
