Whenever a controversial New York City issue hit the courts in recent years, there’s been a decent chance King & Spalding’s Randy Mastro might be on retainer for one of the parties.
And over the past week, several outlets have reported that Mastro—a previous chief of staff and a deputy mayor to Mayor Rudy Giuliani, known around the legal community for his aggressive litigation style—could have a shot at rejoining the city’s side as its top attorney amid myriad hot-button issues.
