A climate activist group has called on Linklaters to decline any further instructions on new fossil fuel infrastructure, after the firm was identified as a top adviser of fossil fuel transactions.

Lawyers Are Responsible, a group which campaigns for top law firms to cut ties to the fossil fuel industry, has been protesting outside Linklaters’ London office. Posting on X, the group wrote: “Morning @LinklatersLLP, come say hi, we’re outside with some research from @LS4CA hot off the press, guess who ranked in the worst top five on fossil fuel transactions?”
