U.S. District Senior Judge Joy Flowers Conti, who sits in the Western District of Pennsylvania, signed off on the settlement, which is valued from $479 million to more than $600 million. The settlement resolves the economic damages of consumers who purchased CPAP and other devices that Philips recalled in 2021. The judge, who heard arguments earlier this month, rejected 78 objections to the settlement and awarded $94.4 million in fees to the lawyers.
