Orrick’s Paris-Based Tech Group Advises French Startups, Helping Many to Unicorn Status

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, well-known as a standout law firm in technology and innovation, has parlayed that expertise to capitalize on the tech scene in France.

Demonstrating the value of an integrated global platform in which offices work together across borders, Orrick’s Paris tech group works with the firm’s U.S. tech partners to help French startups, many of which have gone on to become unicorns. Orrick has advised on six of France’s 28 startups valued at over $1 billion. It also was recently involved in 16 of the 21 French companies considered most likely to become future unicorns, acting both on behalf of clients and investors, the firm said.
