O’Melveny & Myers has filed a complaint on behalf of Legendary Foods against Simply Good Foods and its subsidiary Quest Nutrition, alleging one of their employees misrepresented himself in order to gain access to trade secrets.
The complaint, filed July 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, also alleges that the defendants have violated California’s Unfair Competition Law by attempting to block their former employees from working for Legendary, based in Santa Monica, California.
