The New York State Bar Association has adopted new policies concerning artificial intelligence, with a warning that lawyers not compromise the attorney-client privilege when using the technology that mimics human acuity.
The bar’s House of Delegates approved the task force’s 90-plus-page report examining the legal, social and ethical impact of AI and generative AI on the legal profession on April 6.
