Prosecutors in the Southern District of New York will not pursue a second trial for FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried’s remaining criminal charges, so his sentencing is set to move ahead in March, according to a letter filed late Friday.
“The Government has concluded that the public interest in a prompt resolution of this matter outweighs the interest in holding a separate trial,” prosecutors wrote.
