Surveys in the legal industry are nothing new. In fact, many might say that they’re surveyed-out at this point. But a group of legal tech industry vets would argue that that’s because traditional surveys are going about it all wrong if they want to make an actual difference in the way law firms practice.

Modernize Legal is a new initiative spearheaded by Jae Um, founder and executive director at Six Parsecs, Rob Saccone, a partner at Nexlaw Partners, and Brad Blickstein, a principal at Blickstein Group, who together offer a combined 70 years of experience in legal tech, business and media. The self-professed goal of the project is to fix the broken feedback loops in the legal industry in order to modernize law firm practice.
