Now that the State Bar of Texas members have approved 12 new disciplinary rules, interpretive comments for the rules are under review by the Texas Supreme Court.
When the court makes its decisions on the rules later this year, that will be the culmination of a deliberative process that has been underway for at least three years, and for some rules the process has been much longer.
