Navigating Crisis: How Lebanese Law Firms Are Tackling the Threat of War

The looming threat of war in Lebanon has put Beirut’s law firms on alert. Some are gearing up to transition to remote work if a full-scale conflict erupts while others are rolling out their crisis plan. Yet, amid the preparations, it remains business as usual.

On Tuesday, Lebanon was targeted by an Israeli airstrike that killed Fuad Shukr, a senior Hezbollah member, in a southern suburb of the capital city, Beirut. It certainly isn’t the first strike on the country, however. Lebanon has experienced continuous unrest since the 1975-1990 civil war, the 2006 war with Israel, and other violent events. Another war with Israel could be devastating for the region, however.
