Businessman Jose Uribe, charged with conspiracy to commit bribery and conspiracy to commit honest services wire fraud alongside Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, on Friday entered a guilty plea and has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors.
Uribe is one of three New Jersey businessmen indicted alongside Menendez and his wife, Nadine Menendez, in September. His attorney, Daniel Fetterman of Kasowitz Benson Torres, declined to comment Friday.
