Technology is a subject that has not traditionally been taught in law school, but that is slowly starting to change as tech becomes increasingly essential to both the business and practice of law. Going forward, many in the industry expect an increased focus on training the legal community on the technology they need to be successful—both for future lawyers and for those who are already well established in their careers. This critical need for tech-savvy lawyers is also leading to more competition to fill key technology roles, and even the creation of some new roles and responsibilities altogether.
