Finding the right balance of RTO and giving employees flexibility was a major challenge for law firms and other organizations in 2023, and, by all indications, implementing successful hybrid work arrangements will continue to be a significant focus in 2024. At the same time, alternative staffing arrangements are likely to gain even more steam in the coming year, as legal organizations seek the find the best approach to hiring the right people for the right roles, which might not always resemble the legal roles of the past.
