Two familiar law firm names shared the top spot for the largest law firm in Georgia by head count last year, but other large national firms have grown their Atlanta offices at much faster rates in recent years.
Atlanta-founded Alston & Bird and King & Spalding each had about 350 full-time equivalent lawyers in their Midtown Atlanta offices in 2023, according to ALM data, as they maintained their longtime roles as the largest law firms in Georgia.
