A federal judge in Pennsylvania has slapped down a pair of attorneys’ collective request for more than $130,000 in fees after litigating a sanctions motion filed against them over their “evasive” conduct while representing Walgreens and Bilco Industries, including misleading the court during trial.
U.S. District Judge Chad F. Kenney of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania denied the bill of requests from attorneys Robert Sanzo of Litchfield Cavo on behalf of Walgreens and Jacqueline Promislo of Cozen O’Connor, who represented Bilco Industries, in a sanctions motion filed over their misconduct in a personal injury action.
