Technology can be used for good and bad—and the final days of the 2024 International Legal Technology Association’s (ILTA) EVOLVE conference focused on the former.
That’s not to say that the theme of looking at generative artificial intelligence from the information security threat lens didn’t persevere, but access to justice and the marketability of generative AI products was front and center. Additionally, conversations focused on the usability (or lack thereof) of certain AI tools, while highlighting the importance of exploring the technology, even if an obvious use case isn’t immediately evident.
