It’s been eight months since Clayton Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Robert Lee Mack Jr. rescinded former Chief Judge Deitra Burney-Butler’s reappointment to the Clayton County Juvenile Court.
Now Burney-Butler is running to replace Mack on the superior court bench. The challenger qualified for the judicial race three days after the incumbent’s March 4 qualification.
