An Arizona company has filed a patent infringement complaint against Google and YouTube, alleging the technology used to edit and combine online video on their platforms violates its intellectual property rights.

The complaint, filed Aug. 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleges Google and YouTube have violated four patents held by ART Research and Technology of Maricopa County.
