On International Women’s Day, women around the world are celebrated for achievements in their chosen fields. For women in law, it’s no different: Female law firm leaders are lauded for their accomplishments and for achieving success despite the odds.
But in Asia, the picture looks different. Women have led some of the world’s largest and most formidable law firms for decades. The glass ceiling that women in the West are still struggling to shatter does not exist in the corporate and legal world.
