New Jersey’s Gibbons joined with Washington, D.C.-based Sterne Kessler Goldstein & Fox to bring at least 15 patent infringement suits on behalf of drugmaker American Regent of Shirley, New York.

The crop of cases was filed July 15 and 16 in federal court in Newark, New Jersey, and is assigned to U.S. District Judge Brian Martinotti. It seeks to stop the defendants from producing generic versions of American Regent’s nutrition products made with selenious acid.
