The fast evolution of artificial intelligence is spurring a new generation of legal tech startups—ones that are not only commanding the attention of major investors, but also turning heads with high profile hires.
The latest: e-discovery startup Fileread, which announced in early-May that it hired the head of legal services at pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, Josh Kreamer, as its new chief strategy officer and general counsel. Kreamer created AstraZeneca’s internal e-discovery program from scratch to help control costs at the company, an effort that saw him innovating with tools such as TextIQ and Fileread.
