A former Dentons Canada partner who pleaded guilty a year ago to four criminal offenses has been sentenced by a Canadian provincial court judge to two years in prison.
Justice Michael Waby of the Ontario Court of Justice last week sentenced Étienne Gadbois, a now disbarred tax lawyer, to two years, less a day, plus two years of probation, on two counts of fraud and one count each of criminal breach of trust and obstructing justice.
