Some law firms are preparing for expected demand from legal challenges to federal regulatory agencies’ past decisions following the Supreme Court’s “Chevron deference” ruling last week.

Legal experts have said the ruling will severely limit federal agencies’ regulatory authority and lead to increased litigation as courts review the agencies’ existing regulations and statutory interpretations.
