A lawsuit seeking to prevent Alabama’s attorney general from prosecuting groups helping residents travel out-of-state to access legal abortions is allowed to continue, a federal judge held Monday.
In a 98-page opinion and order, U.S. District Judge Myron H. Thompson for the Middle District of Alabama ruled against Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall who sought to have the lawsuit dismissed.
