Earlier this month, integrated law company Factor joined forces with the general counsels of several global corporations to create The Sense Collective, a “collaboration community aimed at accelerating the adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) in the corporate legal realm,” according to a press release.
The founding members of The Sense Collective, who have been vocal in leading the charge to bolster legal innovation through the use of generative AI, are Intel, DXC Technology, Microsoft, Adobe, Crowdstrike, Ford and Anglo American, while Factor is “facilitating and hosting” the collective. The goal of the collaboration, according to the release, is to “address common challenges across corporate legal teams,” given the “torrential speed” with which generative AI is transforming knowledge work and the “mounting expectations” for the technology across the legal industry.
