E-discovery startup Fileread announced that it has hired Josh Kreamer, who most recently served as the head of legal services at pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, as its new chief strategy officer and general counsel.

A press release announcing the hire noted that during his six years at AstraZeneca, where he also previously served as director of e-discovery, Kreamer led the company’s e-discovery team and its efforts to reduce legal costs. Before AstraZeneca, Kreamer was also the e-discovery senior project manager at law firm Winston & Strawn.
