The Santa Monica plaintiffs firm filed proposed suits against Evry Jewels, Brooklyn Bedding and Frontgate in the California Central District Court in June. All three complaints argued that the retailers intentionally used deceptive phrases and font choices to dupe consumers into believing that regularly priced items were heavily marked down during limited-time promotions.
