Two weeks on from the inquest into the death of Pinsents Masons equity partner Vanessa Ford, many in the legal industry have been asking why such problems persist and what can be done about it.
Ford, known professionally as Vanessa Heap, took her own life after an intense period of work that involved working up to 18-hour days and working through holidays. The inquest ruled her death occurred amidst an “acute mental health crisis”.
