Hong Kong firm Karas So, Mishcon de Reya’s affiliate practice in the city, on Thursday confirmed with Law.com International that it had been instructed by China Evergrande Group’s liquidators in their action against PwC while sources familiar with the matter said Davis Polk & Wardwell is representing the auditor.
Davis Polk did not respond to requests for comment. According to sources familiar with the matter, Davis Polk’s team for PwC is being led by the firm’s Asia chair and disputes and investigations veteran Martin Rogers.
