The sudden departure of three leaders within the Dauphin County Clerk of Court’s Office on Friday left the office with an “unprecedented and untenable leadership void,” the Pennsylvania Supreme Court said in a Saturday order declaring a local judicial emergency at the county court.
Now, the Twelfth Judicial District is attempting to dig its way out from months of slow case processing and staffing losses.
