Coheso Launches AI-Powered Platform for In-House Legal Intake and Work Management

A new legal tech startup emerged from stealth mode on Wednesday, as Coheso announced the public launch of its generative AI-powered legal intake and work management software platform aimed at helping legal and compliance teams accelerate business objectives while reducing risks and costs. The launch comes after the team behind Coheso spent the last year perfecting the software and incorporating the latest generative AI advancements, according to the press release.

Coheso looks to fill an internal systems gap for legal operations teams, the same way that modern software tools have already been aiding engineering, sales and other corporate departments, the release says, replacing the need to customize generic tools or build bespoke systems internally. “Simple yet crucial legal workflows related to intake, work management, and work product generation have lagged in innovation relative to other important enterprise-wide functions. This is at a time when 54% of legal department spending is staying in-house, which is up from 40% a decade ago,” it states.
