A Houston court of appeals, receiving landlord-tenant class actions on remand from the Texas Supreme Court, decertified one of the two classes.
The class action lawsuits originated in 2015 and were certified in Harris County 269th District Court. The certifications were previously affirmed on appeal by the First District Court of Appeals, but the defendants obtained review by the Texas Supreme Court.
