Bryan “Marty” Waugh, who worked as a private pilot for British billionaire Joe Lewis and was charged with securities fraud alongside Lewis in 2023, pleaded guilty to one count of tax evasion in the Southern District of New York on Tuesday.
Accompanied by his counsel, Krieger Lewin partner Daniel Noble, Waugh told U.S. District Judge Jessica G.L. Clarke that he failed to inform the Internal Revenue Service about payments received from his employer, one of Lewis’ companies.
