The Appellate Court granted Connecticut attorney Norm Pattis’ challenge to his six-month suspension in part, vacating the order and remanding for further proceedings.

During the litigation of far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ defamation lawsuit brought by the families of victims in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, Pattis and Jones’ other counsel, Texas attorney F. Andino Reynal, became the subject of a show-cause hearing for the alleged mishandling of highly confidential, attorney eyes-only medical records of the plaintiffs.
