The underlying case involved the plaintiff, Valerie Fisher, represented by Nicole Von Roenn of Morgan & Morgan, who sued the defendant, Sinclair Sloan, represented by Eric Shubow of Kelley Kronenberg, in the Nassau Circuit Court for damages for injuries she alleged she sustained in a car accident caused by Sloan’s negligence, court records show.
