On the evening of April 10, Treasure Coast resident Jennifer Donaldson celebrated her 45th birthday with three friends at Kyle G’s Prime Seafood & Steaks, an eclectic Floribbean steakhouse offering a unique blend of seafood and steak with oceanfront tables.
The dinner began with an appetizer while enjoying the ocean view. Donaldson had informed the waitress about her allergies to tomatoes and nuts and was assured that her “Boom Boom Shrimp” would be allergen-free. However, the party soon turned into a nightmare, with “Happy Birthday” replaced by a rush to the ER.
