Chicago-based Vedder Price is looking to continue growing its Miami litigation abilities after opening its office there last year.
Javier Lopez is the latest hire to join the office as a litigation shareholder. Before joining, Lopez served as the co-chair of local boutique Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton’s complex and commercial litigation practice, where he also served as managing partner from 2020 to 2022. He also served as lead counsel for some of the victims of the Champlain Towers collapse.
