Cooley has hired its first ever chief innovation officer, and it did it with verve. David Wang, the chief innovation officer at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati since 2020 and assessed by many as one of the more innovative minds in the field, has joined the firm and will be based out of Cooley’s Palo Alto office.
Wang, who created the role at Wilson Sonsini, said his move was as much based on what is possible at Cooley as it was on the firm’s existing technical acumen and tech-centric client base.
