Ellis George has filed a trademark infringement complaint against X Corp., formerly Twitter, alleging that its 2023 rebranding has harmed a Virginia public relations agency that uses a stylized letter X in its own branding.
The complaint filed Sunday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California contends that DB Communications, which does business as Multiply, says it has been hurt by confusion over the two companies’ similar logos.
