A state circuit court in Florida is expected to enter a decision on a motion seeking reconsideration of an unusual ruling by the judge to set aside an over $10 million verdict, largely over impermissible evidence presented to a jury during a three-week trial.
Lewis Murphy, a partner at Murphy and Walker in Vero Beach, and Jimmy Adams, a partner at Brooks Pierce in Greensboro, North Carolina, represent the defendants, St. Lucie River Farm LLC and International Farming Corp. LLC, in an action brought by the plaintiff, CTY Farms Inc.
